Why Hydroponic Growing Works Well for Marijuana

Yes, Hydroponic growing is very beneficial for marijuana. To start, it gives a better yield than other soil growing methods and it also takes less time for the growing process from start to finish. You need to take advantage of the cannibis crops in your cycle, so you want to allow them to grow in the best possible way to produce a maximum yield. Things like nutrients, co2 ventilations, light and of course, good cannibis seeds are necessary. The best part about hydroponic growing is that the marijuana flower-tops will be much bigger and have more flavor.

You should start to flower the Marijuana plant at around 2 feet and then the flowering cycle can grow twice as large. You don’t have to wait until it is a 6 ft plant. If you grow 4 plants then you will get around 1/4 lbs of the dried buds but you will have to use good yielding strains, i.e. good seeds. You will need to protect the roots from sunlight and always keep the roots moist. Hydroponic growing will give you larger and more juicier plants a lot more than growing in dirt would.

Things to remember:

You will need to make sure that the pH level always is within the 5.5 to 6.8 pH range and will be even better if you can get it to 6.4-6.5. Hydroponics have a natural tendency to increase the pH over time as the plants tend to use up all the nutrients, so keep an eye on this. Adjust the pH level either up or down with the chemicals that come in both wet liquid or dry powder forms.

You will also need to change the hydro water and re supply it with fresh nutrients every 10 days. The roots must not get either too warm or too cold, so try to maintain the nutrients at a minimum temp of 50F during the night and 70F during the day. HID lighting produces a lot of heat, so you can grow your plants under these, but you will probably need a few of them.

You should routinely check for heat spots as you want to give the plants the best light to maximize their growth. You need to supply the right lighting for the correct stage of the growing process, and then try to get more oxygen over your canopy. You can buy Carbon in a liquid form and then apply it straight to the roots by mixing it into the water.

You should also start with a single net pod system to keep it simple in the beginning. Once you get the hang of the growing process, you will know and understand everything a lot more and you should then be able to plan for a larger kit that can hold around 4-10 plants.

So as you can see, hydroponic growing works well for Marijuana as it is easier for you to grow this way than in soil. It is also inexpensive and gives you better quality plants in a shorter amount of time; that is a fact!
